Cornwell Space Centre
Overall Infrastructure
There
is adequate land on the site of the Caboolture Airfield to build
the Cornwell Space Centre. Preliminary negotiations have been
made, to enable the acquisition of property for the building.
The
Education section (Future Sciences) of the Cornwell Space
Centre, being the primary function, is intended as a remote
campus of a Queensland State University focussed on technology.
(Currently under negotiation). It is envisaged that this will
have links to other research institutions both in Australia and
worldwide. E-learning is also a future development for the
Education section.
The
Tourism section will encompass the history of space flight, with
a number of hands on displays and memorabilia.
